Magnitude 4.1 earthquake rattles California border area

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) -- A magnitude-4.1 earthquake hit the California border area at 8:53 a.m. (0353 GMT) about 33 miles (about 53 km) south of Mexicali, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on Sunday. There's no immediate report of injuries and property damage.
