5.0-magnitude quake hits Papua New Guinea

HONG KONG, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted eastern New Guinea Reg, Papua New Guinea, at 0642 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
