Flash floods displace 1,500 families in S. Philippines

At least 1,500 families were displaced by flash floods brought about by heavy rains in the southern Philippines on Thursday, officials said Friday.

"Some areas are waist-deep underwater. There was no report of casualties," Guerrero said.
